Joshua Ferguson is an associate at Abrams, Cohen and Associate, where he litigates insurance defense matters. Joshua graduated cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he served as Senior Articles Editor for Cardozo Law Review. He earned undergraduate degrees in Asian Studies and Japanese Language and Literature from Vassar College, where he graduated with departmental distinction.
Joshua has previously represented clients in matters ranging from simple negligence claims to litigation involving multi-million dollar land development deals. He has worked in chambers in both state and federal court, interning for Senior District Judge Sterling Johnson, Jr. of the Eastern District of New York and the Honorable Delores Thomas of Kings County Supreme Court.
Joshua has been frequently recognized for his writing skills. He was awarded the Benjamin N. Cardozo Writing Award for an appellate brief written in law school, and was the recipient of the Sophia Chen-Zen Prize for his undergraduate thesis.
